October 10, 2024 from 1-2pm ET, join us as we launch our new series that spotlights leaders in the public and broader public sectors.
With the demands of AI, data storage, data security, and remote access, more than ever Canada needs secure infrastructure with the processing power and privacy capabilities to accommodate the digital needs for the future. Join us to hear how leaders are bringing together government, technology and researchers to achieve this feat!
This first Spotlight features a leader in both the public service and in the digital field. George Ross, CEO of the Digital Research Alliance of Canada and former Deputy Minister in the Government of Ontario, will discuss how he is building the infrastructure for Canada’s digital future. The spotlight will be moderated by another leader in the digital sphere, Dr. Natalie Harrower, Executive Director of Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN), which is currently working in partnership with Statistics Canada to build the first virtual university-based Canada-wide digital infrastructure network.
